Charity Events
Planning a charity event? Then the Reverse Bungee is a great fund-raising tool!
The best way to use the Reverse Bungee to raise funds for your charity is by participants getting sponsored to do their jumps.
How to Raise Lots of Money!
Let us provide you with some important pointers to help you get the most from the Reverse Bungee:
- Start promoting the event as early as possible to get maximum exposure and entice as many participants as possible. Use posters, flyers, word of mouth... anything you can think of to get this exciting event and worthy cause know about. Create a buzz in your local community!
- Get participants to sign up in advance and provide them with sponsorship forms so they can start collecting straight away. If you can get enough participants to raise enough sponsorship, you will cover the cost of hiring the ride and the rest goes to your charity.
- People who haven’t signed up to do sponsored rides in advance can turn up and pay for a ride on the day. We would normally charge between £10 - £25 per person per ride (it’s up to you what to charge at your event). 100% of the revenue generated in this way goes directly to your charity – guaranteed.
- Have volunteers with collection buckets at the event taking donations from spectators and supporters who are too scared to do the jump themselves. As well as being another opportunity to raise funds, it’s a chance to spread the word about the charity.
Important
The space requirements are 22m width (frontage) x 8m depth. However, you also need to consider access into and around the chosen site. Think about roadways in, gates and obstacles such as trees, overhead cables and street furniture. If you are at all concerned about this, just let us know and we can discuss it. A site visit may not be necessary if it is clearly visible from a satellite picture.
